Arnold, CA…To say the last few weeks have been frustrating would be a colossal understatement. On the upside we should have plenty of water this summer. Progress on the cabin however has been nill or in reverse.
It looks like this may end up being the wettest winter since the winter of 82-83. Bear Valley the ski resort near us has passed 600 inches of snow.
We are at about 4,500 feet in elevation and the last few days all of our snow has been drenched with inches and inches of rain.
The snow berm which was over 8ft high in front of our property a few days ago is now down to 4 to 5ft and now what was rock hard icy snow is becoming a snow cone.
Hopefully we can at least get a parking spot carved out again.
Our goal is to post at least a short update each day until we are in the cabin.
