Arnold, CA…In tonight’s video we cleared away the snow from our log pile that has been aging about a year getting ready to be milled. The temps are going to be above freezing the next few days so if we removed the snow tonight by tomorrow night we should be dry enough to start making some dimensional lumber for our first board & batten cabin.

We will need around 100 boards to get it done. If we can mill them out of logs we already have then we will be able to save around $3,000 over what we would have had to pay for the lumber.

We also have the satisfaction of having done it ourselves
